Volunteer Training Program Finalised!

Details for the Get Out & Vote! General Election 2010 Volunteer Training Program on Sunday 21st March 2010 have now been confirmed.

Please remember that attendance is by pre-registration ONLY. Contact hamna@getoutandvote.info to enquire about any remaining places.

Please note this program  is designed for those people wanting to volunteer a few hours a week for the next six weeks helping their local Muslim community to participate in the forthcoming general election, and your confirmation is subject to your agreeing to volunteer in this capacity.

Arrival Time: 11:15am (kindly arrive on time, for a prompt start)

Parking: The conference centre is adjacent to a 700 space multi story NCP car park (£2 for full day). Meter parking is also available behind the building which is free on Sundays.

Train: For those travelling from London Euston, please note the first train on Sunday departs at 08:10, arriving in Manchester Piccadilly at 10:55am

Lunch: A halal light sandwich buffet will be served between 13:45 – 14:30.

Participants: The event is open to both men and women.

Preparatory Reading: As preparation for the day, you are respectfully advised to invest some time reading the following documents, this should no more than 45mins of your time. All the seminars will be delivered on the assumption that the above content has been studies by participants which will in turn allow more complex aspects of the subject matter to be explored
